vectra 1.8 duelfuel 2003 sat nav question

hi there just wondering can the sat nav fit and work in my car to replace the radio and time display. ?

if its a 2003 yes you can.. how difficult.. depends on what you have now.. but theres 2 how2 you may need to follow to make it done.

But the vx system is crap compared to tom tom and others anyway. Its really not worth it imo.

i have 53 plate DualFuel SRi Nav, trust me the sat nav is crap. very very basic. just arrows, no pictures, pretty difficult to use, u have to fill in the full address, it doesn't work with postcodes like the new sat navs these days. i wouldn't bother if i were u.

It will take postcodes, but only the first 5 digits. Blame that on the RM.

sorry mate, what do u mean RM? i have owned the car for 2 months, and used the sat nav quite a bit. how the hell do u put postcodes in lol? i have had to put in the full address everytime? i have the Siemens NCDC2013 btw.

RM=royal mail, they charge a fortune as they own the rights to post codes, although I believe thats to end this year.

I think you just enter it where you put the address in, although i don't have first hand information of this. maybe its in the manual?
