confused 2.2 SRi single output to twin output (direct) conversion

    Hi everybody,

I'm fairly new to this forum but I was wondering if anyone could help me out with something. I'm going to view a car tomorrow, its a Vectra-C 2003 2.2 SRi but it has one exhaust at the back.

My question is, if I do buy it, could I modify/convert it to a twin exhaust like th 2.2. direct SRI? Could anybody recommend me any company that can do that for a good price + increase in performance?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Kindest regards,

    Waqas (an absolute newbie)

I've done the exact conversion your on about mate, 2.2 single to double. All I did was get a 2.0T twin system, cut it before the Y and clamp it over my existing centre section. Bobs your uncle, job done, cost me £60.

Not really a good idea on a n/a petrol, you still need back pressure, not a problem on a Turbo though, plus a decat on a 2.2 will just send the car into limp.
