    Default Inlet manifold

    im after a new inlet manifold for my vec-c cdti 150, ive had a quote from a local dealer, what's the best price you've been quoted or can get one for ??, the dealer will supply + fit or is happy to fit one i can supply!. i would appreciate any feed back with up to date prices. many thanks.

    im trying to locate one for the best price to ease the blow, missed one last week for £100. been quoted £552 in vat fitted.

    £552 all in fitted is very good mate, I'd go for that. I assume that includes a new actuator too..?

    no mate just manifold and gaskets,they only charge 3 1/2 hrs labour although its a 5hr job, fixed price apparently.

    You will need the actuator aswell, as they learn to the manifold to which they are attached - if this isn't changed, you are just going to having problems further.

    yes i see where your coming from and always used to believe that but several dealers have told me the same thing they reset the values and have no problems at all, i have a friend thats a vx mechanic and thats what he says also.

    i know the makers recommend its changed, so i will give the service chap the chance to recommend it giving him the information i know, but he says they will warranty it regardless of whether they or i supply the manifold.
