Default blowers and ac blowing hot air

    Hi, can anyone help?
When you turn the heaters to cold the hot air still comes through, even the air conditioning is blowing hot air, what could be the problem?

Just managed to fix problem, was the electronic valve. 5 torque screws to get glove box off, carefull when doing this as the glovebox light needs disconnected before taking out full box. Under panels at heater matrix side, one furtherst from you is a seperate panel from main, take out torque screw on both, makes access a hell of lot easier, foot blower(plastic bit coming from main blower and looks like a mooses antlor), lying down facing upwards you will see one torque screw, again take this off, and carefully shoogle the main bit till it pops off. by this time you will have easy access to the electronic valve which looks like a black D shape about the size of a computer mouse but flatish with the red plastic arm on it. Unplug this before doing anything, if to tight then once you have taken the two torque screws out unplug this, ensure you have car keys out the ignition at all times through this, Disconnect red plastic bit(arm),to do this squeese the two bits together and it will slip out. By this time you have the electronic valve out, cafefully open up with plain small screwdriver, their are small clogs that all turn from the tiny motor, i tested the motor with a couple of fat batterys that was lying about the house with speaker wire to the positive and negative(red and black wire) to see if it worked, done reverse to make sure it turned both ways, gave clogs a wee clean, all works. Put back together and fitted back in car and put back everthing in reverse to the strip down. Got my hot and cold blowers back and even the A/C working again.
    Good Luck
