    Default Couple of Codes Stored

After a drive down the motorway yesterday (70 mile trip), the first two-thirds I had the spanner light coming on and off randomly for varying lengths of time. Last third I never saw it again.

Just checked the codes and found these.

    P1481 - Fan Control 1 Circuit Open
    (04) - Not present

P0441 - Fuel Tank Ventilation Solenoid Valve Sticks
    (66) - Present
Noticed that these have re-appeared since I cleared the codes when I first got the car.

The Fuel Tank Ventilation Solenoid Valve needs addressing, but without seemingly asking the obvious, what does it do and where is it?

I did a test at idle and actuated it, car was cold so rpm was high, but when I actuated it, the RPM dropped and it went from 0% (Closed) to 100% (open) or vice versa.
