    Default Cruise Control - DONE

Just been out and fitted my clutch switch, this was the last part as I already had the stalk and had enabled it on the car.

All I would say is easy job, if you know how.

    Used this

    I'll summarise.

    1. Remove the silver (or whatever cover dash trim) from the right of the steering wheel.
    2. Remove the two screws from the vent and pull out the vent.
    3. Pushing from behind pop out the light switch, you can get your fingers in where the vent was.
    4. undo the screw in the middle of the two vent screws by coming up from the bottom.
    5. Move the steering wheel up and undo the two screws in the cubby hole beneath the steering wheel.
    6. Undo the three screws on the panel where your knees would be.
    7. Sticking your head under and depressing the Clutch pedal, you can see the bar it clips into and the connection to switch should be either hanging around (as mine was) or taped up.
    8. Get your clutch switch and with the button facing away from you, pull out the red shroud around the actual switch.
    9. Connect up the switch before you push it in as the cable is at the other side when in place.
    10. Push the switch in from the rear, it only goes in one way due to a lug.
    11. Push the red shroud all the way back in.
    12. All done, replace the panel, light switch and vent then off you go.

I didn't realise the red thing moved and spent about 20 minutes trying to push it in, then it struck me like a bolt of lightning.

If a How2 is to be made out of this, I can add the rest.

My new stalk has a switch on top of the stalk much like the intermittent adjust on the other side, couldn't figure this out but only had a quick run.

My light didn't come on, I know it works because I tested it. I'll try resetting it all tomorrow in the daylight.

Picture of the clutch switch, at the bottom is the cable and you can see the metal it clips into.

Yeah that helped a lot, but did have to read each line several times due to the (poor) translation.

Without those instructions I wouldn't have got far, fortunately I was able to figure out the blanks (or bad translations).

I have to say, one of the easiest cars to pull apart, yet it goes back together properly.

I've snapped plastics and struggled to make things fit properly after screwing back together in other cars, but this is bliss.
