ST220 is just too slow, although it sounds okay.

I tried an MPS before getting the VXR: I didn't like the "cheap japanese stereo" interior, 4-cylinder engine sounded boring. The controls were lighter than the VXR, and it seemed more responsive to chuck around (a bit: didn't really push it with a salesman in the back). Gearbox was slicker on the MPS, and 4wd system seemed to work well.

I had a run-in with an MPS on a series of wet roundabouts along the A43. Speed around the roundabouts was about the same, but the MPS definitely had the edge getting the power down on the exit. The VXR caught up easily on the straight, and it would probably have been a different story in the dry.

Ended buying the VXR for the 6-cylinder engine note, raw power, and the chunky, well-built solid feel.

My wife actually blocks me in so I can't get mine off the drive!

Just a quick note about that Top Gear test. How is it they could get it to understeer so badly? I can't get mine to remotely do what he had it doing to EPS & TC just don't allow it even with the TC switched to the so called off position not a chance! I just don't get it...I really couldn't get mine to do that if I tried....WTF?

I have to say though, I like the MPS styling. I'll stay where I am though thank you very much

Its a Sony HQ1 Bullet Cam... to capture those 'moments' on the track

One in the rear as well

Its all 'broadcast' quality, same as the ones Top Gear use for their in-car reports.

The video's I put on YouTube are very heavily compressed, so the quality is nowhere near as good as the raw video files.

I can flick between front cam and rear cam with a small button by the gear lever.

I think it was one of your camera shots on youtube that i watched, pulled onto a motorway using the rear view camera....then everything dissappeared very quickly....that video was the thing that made me buy the vxr
