Illuminating the interior door pulls?

Has anyone done illuminated interior door pulls?

When its really dark in the car its hard for passengers to see where they are.

What those chrome, shiney reflective ones. That you can't miss?

Surely if your parking up and you turn the ignition off, the interior light comes on, or if not, you can press the map reading light for your blind passenger.

I more think its in the back.. even with lights in the rear it sometimes can be difficult.

I want them but havent got round to doing an interior led conversion yet, will probably have a go when I give the conversion a go...

I was in a skoda octavia taxi a few months ago and that had them, looked really smart... I'm thinking of under door kerb lights too

Was in a French car mag years ago single blue led it was behind handle looked very smart like

I done it a while ago but they where too bright so I took them out

I fitted some small red smd's above the handles. They're not too bright but enough to do the job. I've drilled a small hole in the top corner for the wire and wired them to the switch illumination circuit. With the switch popped out i didn't need to remove the door card.
Well worth it, almost every time i dropped someone off when it was dark they wouldn't be able to find the handle until i turned the interior light on.

Was thinking of doing this one myself, my mates Astra has it too and it may be quite a good one to do
