@plasma, where is the PP light located on the dash. I have the factory 04 SRi clocks but no PP light in the clocks, I dont remember seeing a symbol in my old 2.2 (factory fitted front/rear). Does this light up when in use, or just lights as like a system check or system fault... I know if there's an issue it comes up in my preface additional window, so is that why I dont have an additional symbol?

Resolved this but it's still intermitting, sure it's the connector to the counter display, when I was about to remove dash screws it came on and on removal went off so disconnected and reconnected it went back on but once moved on place it went back off, when connector is fully connected it still looks loose so I could do with a connector if there is such a thing.

the connector can suffer from dry joints on the circuit board, if you strip it right down to the pcb and resolder the connection it may cure it..

Any reason it shows wording "airbag" as apposed to the millage?.. no other lights present and no code's present.

seen that before, if it cant show the airbag symbol on the instruments due to a fault it says it on the display... think your clocks are probably goosed.

If you can resolder them it may cure it, or you can send it to me, I'll resolder it for you and send back just cover the cost of postage.
