    Default Z20NET Spec Sheet

Because I can do a good impression of a geek, and because I like my engine, I've drawn up what I hope will become a sticky once it's finished, and act as a reference guide to the Z20NET for forum members.

At the moment it consists of a picture of the engine, some facts and figures, and BHP and torque curves.

Please feel free to point out any inaccuracies, and make suggestions for additional information that should be included, and if you also have that information to hand, so much the better.

Maybe a sticky for veccy/siggy engines, then inside that post links to each engines own "non-stickied" thread?

    Jezzy,

    additional component for Tubo solenoid

looks identical to the charged bypass valve that so many of us have fitted and works in tandem with it - do not confuse them as they do have different reference values and will not effectively work if reversed

Vauxhall part no 12787706 description "valve"

location as per your picture of the engine with the cover removed ..
located above the dipstick with 3 pipes and electrical connector coming out of the unit .

my advice is if your fitting "Charged air bypass valve, Vauxhall part number 55354158" you fit this one as well - belt and braces but for around a tenner might save you an additional trip to the dealers

    regards

    Dez
